On Friday of this week all children at Duke Street Primary School will be completing a screen-free day for their remote learning. The children will move away from screens and participate in a range of activities building on skills such as creativity, individuality and resilience.
Class teachers will be sending out a task grid for you to look at and choose activities from for Friday. The grid indicates the minimum amount of activities but you can do as many as you like.
We feel that this is important to support the development and growth of the whole child and something we are sure you can enjoy participating in. You can add pictures to your child's SeeSaw if you wish but it is not compulsory as it is a 'screen-free day'.
This also means that there will be no morning zoom registration. Friday 12th February is a screen-free remote learning day. We hope you enjoy.
