School council children and some of our Syrian children led a moving assembly yesterday, as part of our work towards becoming a School of Sanctuary, sharing with children, staff and parents, some of the work and activities that have taken place in school over the last term or so.  All participants can be very proud of their efforts and we look forward to reporting to the Mayor of Chorley, later in the year about what makes Duke Street Primary a School of Sanctuary.
